What We Do
Our Mission
Construct formed in 2013 to ensure that all students have the confidence and the skills they need to thrive in a complex world.
An education non-profit that builds student-led Design Challenges supported by local and regional industry partners, we surface and celebrate student solutions that seek to address real problems affecting their community and the world, while developing curriculum and instructional tools that make design challenges fun and accessible for teachers.
Design Challenges Inspire Self-Directed Learning
Design Challenges can be built around problems big or small and provide opportunities to develop hard-to-nurture skills like communication (written, oral, and digital) inquiry, curiosity, critical thinking, team work, bias toward action, reflection, and iteration of work.
We will help you identify alignment between our approach and your district Learner Profile or Graduate Profile.
Our Approach
Design Challenge competitions focus on problems that need solutions NOW, tapping into students passion and purpose for making the world a better place.
