Danya is a creative problem solver that lives in that magical dream world made up of equal-parts vision-boarding and spreadsheets.

Give her a business challenge that involves humans (aka: all business challenges) and Danya is keen to solve it using a collaborative, human-centered approach. In other words: She’s thoughtful and handy.  

Danya received her MBA from Portland State University. With a focus on social entrepreneurship, her personal mission is to grow good work in the world. Throughout her career, she has worked with companies to develop and implement impact strategies; built non-profit education programs for students; expanded international sales for coffee farmer cooperatives; and served as an advisor to small businesses struggling to get through the myriad challenges of today’s marketplace.

At Construct, Danya engages Industry Partners, encouraging their participation as sponsors, thought leaders, and mentors for our Student Design Challenges. Our partners support students throughout their innovation journey, often discovering that working with students has the power to inform and inspire their own goals of contributing good things to the world.
