KATU Innovation Challenge Finalists
45 Middle And High School Teams from across Oregon participated in Spring 2022’s KATU Innovation Challenge
Student teams had access to a toolkit for innovation including coaching sessions offered by Construct and industry advisors.
All teams designed, prototyped, and submitted their solution ideas— focused on creating a “Cleaner, Greener, Healthier Planet.”

The Carbon Buster
Valley Catholic Middle School
Concept: It's a real-time game app to address over-usage of electricity by families –especially those with children–which causes increased carbon emissions because families need a way to conserve energy consciously and be motivated to make saving electricity a habit.
